Resource Add-on

The BookingPress Resources Addon lets you manage the resources needed for your appointments, and control their availability as per their quantities. It is best-fit for businesses that rely on limited resources such as cars, boats, equipment, rooms, machines or supplies.

Using the Resources Addon, you can add resources, set their available quantity per time slot, and link them to services or services extras. 

Moreover, BookingPress automatically takes resource availability in mind whenever a customer picks an appointment time. This prevents bookings when the required resources have already reached their available quantity.

For example if you have three cars available for rental, you can set the resource quantity to 3. Then BookingPress will take in account how many cars are already being used for bookings. And later decide whether another booking can be accepted for the selected time slot.

Manage Resource Maintenance

Resources may sometimes be unavailable because they need servicing, repairs, maintenance or scheduled downtime. For these kind of situations, the Resources Addon allows you to create maintenance schedules and temporarily block a specific quantity of a resource.

For example if you have three cars and two are undergoing maintenance from 1:00 AM to 3:00 AM, BookingPress will consider only one car available during that time period. If now all three cars are unavailable, the related service cannot be booked during that time.
