With BookingPress Tax Addon, you will be able to set the percentage of tax that will be calculated and included according to the charges of the services.

Tax addon will calculate the tax according to the amount payable, and will be added as per the percentage set to be added with the charges in the Total Amount Payable.

The best part? You can also configure taxes based on the country selected by the customer while booking an appointment. This gives you the next level flexibility to apply different tax percentages for different countries or values selected via a custom field in your booking form. If you are using the BookingPress Location Addon alongside Tax Addon, you can also configure taxes according to the location of the appointment.

For example:

• India: 18% tax
• United Kingdom: 20% tax
• United States: 10% tax

Now when a customer selects their country during booking, BookingPress can automatically apply the tax rate. Moreover, you can also use a custom field in your booking form to decide the applicable tax rate. 

For example, you can create a dropdown or radio button field for a customer’s country or region and apply different taxes based on the selected value.

In short, this addon will help to add the tax after automatic calculation of the amount as of percentage set to get as per the total amount of the service.

Tax Calculation With Coupons

What’s more is that BookingPress Tax Addon also works with coupons. When taxes are excluded from the service price, the coupon discount is applied first and the tax is calculated on the discounted amount. When taxes are included in the service price, the coupon discount is calculated based on the price before tax and the applicable tax is then included in the final amount.

Include or Exclude Taxes

You can also choose between Include Taxes and Exclude Taxes based on how you want to show and calculate taxes for your services.

For example, if a service costs $100 and you set the tax rate to 10%, BookingPress automatically calculates $10 as tax. As per your settings, the customer can either pay $100 with the tax included or $110 with the tax added separately.
