How to Configure Email Notifications with BookingPress Plugin

We’ve created this video tutorial to show you how to set up and automate email notifications in BookingPress. By default, this channel is available so you don’t have to activate any addon for it. From Email Notification Settings, you get four Email delivery methods:

  • WordPress Default
  • PHP mail() function
  • SMTP method
  • Google/Gmail

Configure whichever email delivery method you want, try to send test email notification if you want, and save the settings. After this, you can go to the BookingPress Notifications page and set up your email subject, message, on-event trigger, and add dynamic info using placeholder. You can set email templates for both customers and staff members to keep them updated.

Lastly, the video walks you through how customers actually book an appointment and receive notifications on the appointment being approved. Lastly, it also shows how you can check debug logs if things go wrong.
