Mastering the Admin Dashboard

The BookingPress Dashboard gives you a real time overview of your business performance including appointments, revenue and customer growth, all in one place.

Simply go to your WordPress Dashboard and click on the BookingPress → Dashboard. Even if you click on just the BookingPress icon, Dashboard is going to be the first panel that appears.

Key Metrics Overview

The dashboard shows all important business data based on your selected date range. After you have set the date range, you will be able to see the data: 

  • Total Appointments.
  • Approved Appointments.
  • Pending Appointments.
  • Total Revenue.
  • Total Customers.
  • Total Staff Members.

Each metric gives you a quick snapshot of your booking activity and overall business performance.

Understanding Date Filters

Understanding Date Filters

You can filter dashboard data using custom or predefined date ranges. And here are some all the quick filters you can use to see your business analytics data: 

  • Today.
  • Yesterday.
  • Tomorrow.
  • This Week.
  • Last Week.
  • This Month.
  • Last Month.
  • This Year.

These filters are great for analyzing performance over different time periods.

The dashboard section shows you three visual graphs for:

  • Appointments.
  • Revenue.
  • Customers. 

With these graphs, you can see the trends, track growth and keep an eye on your business performance over time, at a glance. 

Upcoming Appointments

Upcoming Appointments

If you scroll down, you’ll be able to see a complete list of all your upcoming appointments, making the BookingPress dashboard truly centralized.

It helps you stay always updated on your scheduled bookings without navigating to the appointments section. 

Here, you’ll see data such as: 

  • Appointment ID.
  • Date. 
  • Customer. 
  • Staff Member. 
  • Service.
  • Duration.
  • Status (Approved, Pending, Cancelled, Rejected, No-show or Completed)
  • Created Date of appointment. 

You can also change the appointment status from here, and it’ll be reflected everywhere. 

Here’s How To Get More Out Of Your BookingPress Dashboard

  • Remember to use :This Month” to track your current performance. 
  • Compare “Last Month” vs “This Month” for getting growth insights. 
  • Always track your business “Revenue” to make better business decisions. 
  • Always check your “Pending Appointments” regularly to not miss an appointment.
